Abdeel Oviedo

Missionary Profile

Ministry Focus

This ministry seeks to join God's vision, which is to bring the message of the Gospel to the entire world, to every people and nation. In these communities, Abdeel and his wife, Cintia will establish healthy churches with lives transformed by the knowledge of His word. They know that this same vision is the biggest challenge for Missions Door, and with their good work they have managed to plant churches all over the world, and they share the same goal.

As a ministry, Abdeel and Cintia understand that God's project is great and requires great efforts. They are aware of what Jesus was looking at in Matthew 9:37-38, where Jesus describes a request that, in his opinion, is one of the most important in the prayer list. Jesus teaches them to "pray to the Father for laborers because the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few."

Every missionary worker is an answered prayer, and their work is an answered prayer. It is up to His followers to say, "Here I am, send me."

Their vision is to be effective in training new workers, to have a strong, committed leadership, creating a good environment in each planted church that allows for personal and spiritual development. Each program would be impacting society, reaching schools, colleges, universities, and governmental entities.

Faith Story

Abdeel and his wife were born into the gospel, born into Christian homes, they were child preachers in the same church since they were 6 years old. Although they knew each other since they were little, and when they were young, they were not interested in a romantic life, none of that crossed their minds. But once they started serving God and dedicating themselves to his work, they both were able to see with different eyes what God had deposited within them. They believe that God's will was already preparing them for this time, for this work, chosen for something in his Kingdom. Today, with 23 years of marriage, they have 3 children who are also serving God alongside them, and they have come to Missions Door in search of biblical knowledge, which allowed Abdeel and Cintia to meet them. During the biblical training sessions at BEE, they shared with friends of the word of God like Arnold, Rigo, Mario, and many other pastors. We also participated in the Church in the Universities congress in Honduras where we met a great team of men serving God.
