FIELD

After participating in a variety of ways in her high school youth group, Kristin started college in Tucson at the University of Arizona determined to find a ministry in which she could continue to grow. It was only after trying a handful of other groups that she stumbled upon Damascus Road. God made it clear that this was the group with which He wanted her to serve.

She became involved in various areas of the ministry during her first two years in college as she began to seek out her passions and spiritual gifts. As she prayed about future ministry opportunities, it became apparent that the next step in her journey would be to join the Damascus Road staff and continue to reach out to the students at the University of Arizona. Kristin was appointed with Missions Door in June 2009.

FAITH

Kristin grew up in Chandler, Arizona and spent much of her childhood attending a Catholic church with her family. As an adolescent, she drifted from the church, until her family began attending a non-denominational Christian church when she was in high school.

It was through that youth group that she was led to Christ, and she accepted Jesus as her Savior in 2004. Although mission work seemed appealing to her, it wasn’t until college that she felt God had intentionally placed her in a ministry that would help her fulfill this calling.

FAMILY

When not living in Tucson during the school year, Kristin lives with her family. Parents Peg, Steve, and younger brother Steve continue to attend the Christian church they first attended in 2004 and have, since then, each made the decision to follow Christ.
