FIELD

Carlie is interning with Campus Ambassadors as Worship Coordinator for Monroe Community College and State University of New York, Brockport. In this position she will be planning music for large group meetings which entails coordinating musicians in the band, choosing songs, playing piano or guitar and singing. She loves leading others to enter into great times of praise to God.

Another part of her internship will be leading Bible studies throughout the year at Monroe CC. She will be meeting students, making new friends, and providing opportunities for them to know more about Jesus Christ.

FAITH

Carlie was born and raised in Rochester, New York. She was blessed to grow up hearing about Jesus and what He did to provide a way for us to be with Him forever through His death on the cross for our sins.

Carlie has participated in several missions trips since she was in 7th grade, and found that they were times when she would really grow closer to God. She’s always had a heart for serving and helping others. Carlie had many opportunities to share her faith and invite other students to her youth group while attending public high school.

While at Word of Life Bible Institute she became grounded in the Word of God and had several opportunities for ministry. Those opportunities included missions trips to New York City and Argentina to share the Gospel, volleyball ministry, drama ministry, and praise band ministry.

After two years there, Carlie came back to Rochester and enrolled at Monroe CC. That was the same time Lexi Nesbitt started a Campus Ambassadors club on that campus. Lexi and Carlie worked together to hold Bible studies and Carlie led music for meetings.

Then Carlie transferred to Philadelphia Biblical University to further her education in Christian counseling and discipleship. She continued to grow and use her gifts in music as a student.

God has now brought her to finish college online through Liberty University with a degree in Psychology/Christian Counseling. She is very excited to start the year at Monroe and be able to use the ministry experience and knowledge that God has given her thus far. She has always had a desire in her heart to tell others about how amazing God is and how much He loves them. She’s excited for the opportunity to do it through Campus Ambassadors.

FAMILY

Carlie is the youngest and only girl of four children. She has three older brothers whom she loves dearly and looks up to very much. Her parents are a wonderful example of a godly, wise, and loving marriage. She is now an aunt to six little ones who bring her much joy. She is very close with her family and very grateful to God for the good gift of life He has given her through them.
